New Concert on EMTV

I’m happy to share that my Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht concert with hornist Nicolas Roudier — Early Romanticism on Valve Horn — is now available to stream on EMTV. Recorded live at Leeuwenbergh (Utrecht) on 4 September 2025, the programme dives into the sound-world of Napoleonic-era Parisian salons and the “new” valve horn, with music by Louis-Emmanuel Jadin, Ferdinand Hérold, Charles Gounod, and Camille Saint-Saëns, plus an improvised Romantic fantasy at the fortepiano.

EMTV (Early Music Television) is the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht’s streaming platform — often described as the “Netflix of early music” — offering high-quality concert films via subscription (and some pay-per-concert options). Lastly: I’ve also put a short YouTube clip of that free-fantasy improvisation online as a quick taste from the concert.
